
HP has made a green move. This is no surprise, as anything labeled green and/or organic sells itself these days, but HP’s recent move has a surprising (at least to this jaded consumer) amount of substance to it. They’re packing their Pavilion dv692 systems, laptops available at Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club, in messenger bags.
This has cut their individual consumer packing materials by a whopping 97(!)%. You get a pat on the back by Captain Planet, HP.

Well done HP, it seems like a good idea to me; saves on all the packaging waste and you don’t need to shop around for a laptop case either.
